London's political regime fell during the great depression. In its place, the royal family, or what is left of it, has stood once again with all the corruption one might expect. The Royal family has 'liberated' New London of Supernatural and built a stronghold wall around the heart of the city called "Black gate" to protect royalty, nobility and the elite. The reality is it is mostly security theater, as the royals know there is many supernatural among them. To counter this problem, mercenary hunters are legalized to hunt down and kill all supernaturals both inside and outside the gate. With a distraction of war against supernatural kind across Western Europe and in Northern Ireland, New London has become a ripe location for black market, smuggling, sabotage and more.

Ireland has a whole has claimed itself a sanctuary for humanity, declaring that Witches, albeit of unnatural power, are among them. Many Witches not partaking in the Legion have gathered, and forged their own town in Wicklow Mountains just south of Dublin port. Ireland remains primarily farmland and dangerous bog, but maintains its place as one of the most magical lands. Wicklow remains one of the most ‘magical’ places in the world, the village itself centered around an old Mansion called the House of Mirth that has stood for centuries. Many of the Witches here are wives and children of those serving in the Legion, or the elderly who cannot serve, and those abstaining from fighting at all. Despite the sanctuary given, Ireland has become a target once again of the United Kingdom, using Northern Ireland to invade with frequent plane bombings. Ireland wont stand for more from the Crown after such a long history, and the Witches under their protection assist in protecting the country as well as healing in their gratitude. Daemons and Vampyres remain unwelcome, at least without a Witch chaperone.

A region overrun with Supernatural kind, the Isle of Manavia stands apart from all nations and sanctuaries. Once the Isle of Mann, it was taken in the early 1930s by those fleeing the mainland witch-hunts. The human population was destroyed or enslaved, leaving only the unnatural to claim what remained. Over the past decade, the city has transformed from a modest trading port into a ruthless engine of profit and power. What began as a surge in commerce after years of stagnation quickly spiraled into something far more calculated; A feeding ground for opportunists who saw gold in every shadow. Ships began arriving in greater numbers, bringing foreign merchants, smugglers, and financiers who reshaped the economy to suit their ambitions. Old laws couldn’t keep up, and those who tried to enforce them found themselves outbid, outmaneuvered, or quietly removed. The island thrives on what it can barter, blood, magic, asylum, and information. Each more valuable than coin. For humans, it is a dangerous place without a supernatural guardian. While some bring trade to the ports, they are often left alive to spread rumors. By 1939, the Isle became a target of plane bombings of which it has unnaturally withstood. Since the bombings, the Legion has held and operative base there as a central headquarters for officers, but outside the city as they do not participate in its shifting leadership.
